Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Hemanth Kumar P V ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit https://pvhemanthkumar.in or register for a workshop, webinar or bootcamp. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 of India.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number and, where you choose to, your college or organisation.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive only the payment status, amount, Razorpay order and payment IDs. We never receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials.
- Technical information: basic data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, which our hosting provider records in standard server logs.
2. How we use your information
- To confirm your registration and send joining links, reminders and Session materials.
- To process payments and, where applicable, refunds.
- To respond to your questions and provide support.
- To issue certificates of participation.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
We will send you news about future Sessions only if you agree to it, and you can opt out at any time.
3. Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:
- Razorpay, to process your payment (see Razorpay's privacy policy).
- Video meeting platforms (such as Google Meet or Zoom), only what is needed to give you access to the Session.
- Email and hosting providers that help us run the Website.
- Government authorities, when required by law.
4. Cookies
The Website uses only the cookies it needs to work, plus those set by Razorpay during checkout for security and fraud prevention. We do not use advertising cookies.
5. Data retention
We keep registration and payment records for as long as needed to deliver the Session and to meet legal and tax obligations (usually up to 8 years for financial records). Other data is deleted when it is no longer needed.
6. Data security
The Website uses HTTPS encryption. Payment data is handled by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Access to the records we keep is restricted to us.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hemanth@pvgroups.com. We will respond within 24–48 business hours, and in any case within 30 days. Records we must keep by law may not be deleted until that period ends.
8. Children
Participants under 18 must register with the consent of a parent or guardian.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
